5 ROCKINGLY AWESOME Stars

Finally…. I have Cam & Aiden’s story on my kindle to devour J ….. It is fan-freaking-tastic………
This series for me just keeps growing and getting better….. I was once again drawn back on board shaft’s tour bus from page one….. I laughed, I cried and I freakily loved it….. As I was taken on an amazingly good, yet bumpy ride, which only Shaft could provide.
Awesomely…. This book picks up from where Escaping me finished….. Cam and Aiden are apart and broken…. Each of them are, trying to move on in their own ways but are failing badly…. But is it too late for them to make it work???
When Daisy needs Cam to come help her manage this crazy group of lads…. She is unable to say no to the only family she has ever known.
Can Cam make Aiden need her just as much as she needs him…. With her returning as Shaft’s Manager …. Only time will tell….
Aiden thinks he has lost the only girl for him….. He is completely broken without her…. With her back on the bus can he make her change her mind and claim her as his???
This story is filled with bumps, twists and turns…… and will keep you on the edge from page one till the end but one thing for sure it is jam packed with drama, humour, love and lots of hot hot steamy sex!!..... There is never a dull moment aboard the shaft bus.
I loved Grey’s story, l adored Aiden’s story but I need Hunter’s story…. As my heart belongs to Cunter…..
I cannot wait to continue this amazing journey with the Shaft family….. This has become one of my favourite rocker series……
Cat Mason as yet to disappoint me and continues to amazing me in her writing ability which always ensures an outstanding read ……

Men of Inked Series Book #1

SYNOPSIS:
Suzy’s a control freak and has her life mapped out - work hard, find a man with a stable job, and live happily ever after. She’s content with the status quo, but her plan comes to a screeching halt when he enters her life and turns it upside down. City gave up on love when his heart was crushed in college, preferring to be the typical bachelor. He spends his nights hopping from one bed to another and his days working at his family tattoo shop, Inked. A chance encounter on a dark road makes him question what he had sworn off forever – a relationship. A night of passion and lust causes them to question everything. Is City the knight in shining armor to the damsel in distress? Can their relationship survive when a fantasy falls apart and a secret comes out that changes everything?
“Do you swear?” I asked as she set the glass back on the bar.
“What?” She gaped at me.
“Do you swear? Simple question. You’ve said ‘heck’ and ‘friggin’’ so far, but nothing dirty.”
“Oh, um, yeah, I swear.” Her cheeks turned pink and a small smile spread across her face. “I’m just used to watching my words with the kids around all day.”
“Prove it,” I said as I stared in her blue sapphire eyes.
“What? Why?”
“Cause I need to know if it’s in you. Are you all good girl or is there more under there dying to come out?” I hid the smile and laughter that was so close to breaking free from my lips. The pink of her cheeks spread across her face. I know I embarrassed her, but fuck, I needed to know if I stood a chance.
“Yes, I swear. What do you think I am? I’m not a child, City.” She glared at me as she raised the drink to her lips and wrapped them around the rim. Fuck I wanted those lips wrapped around my shaft, taking me deep and sucking me off.
“Never said you were, babe. Do you drink besides tonight?” I asked, now smiling because I knew she was upset. I liked the fire I saw in her eyes when I pointed out her good girl qualities – she obviously didn’t like being labeled.
“Sometimes. I’m just responsible. I don’t drink and drive. My dad used to be a cop and it was drilled into my head at an early age.” The words she spoke hit me like a ton of bricks. Drunk driving was the one thing in the world that caused my blood to boil.
Good girl teacher with a cop father? Just my luck. “Nothin’ wrong with that. Virgin daiquiris aren’t always your thing, then?”
“Why? Do I have to be a drinker? I mean does it make me less of an adult?”
“No, Suzy. Just trying to get a feel for who you are – what you are.”

Beautiful Failure by Mariah Cole Book Tour

Title: Beautiful Failure
Author: Mariah Cole
Genre: New Adult
Publication Date:December 17, 2013

If you're looking for a heartwarming story about a girl who falls deeply in love with a troubled boy who changes her life--a sob story with pretty metaphors and a million ways that'll tell you how "broken" she is, STOP. Don't read another word of this.

I'm not that type of girl.

My name is Emerald Anderson and I'm not going to bullshit you: I flunked out of college after my sophomore year, I've been fired from every job I've ever taken, and I've never had a fully functioning relationship in my life.

I wish I could say that I had a cheerleader in my corner, someone who says, "No, Emerald--You're great and you are good at something!" but I don't. My grandparents are completely oblivious to my life, and my mother's dying words to me were "You're going to end up just like me one day. A beautiful nothing."

She was right.

As I decide to start my life over and take two jobs that will forever change me--one from the inside, and one from the outside, I keep my mother's words close to my heart so I can keep the sexy and mysterious Carter Black away.

He's the first man who's ever pursued me, the first man who seems bent on finding out why I am the way I am, but he's wasting his time.

I'm not broken. I don't need to be fixed. I'm perfectly fine being a beautiful failure...

Emerald Anderson is a strong, independent woman with a no bullshit attitude…. She didn’t have a picture perfect childhood but she survived it…. She is currently screwing her present as she is unable to face some simple home truths…. But she is still dreaming of a better future….
Carter…. The man of mystery…. Wants her but is in no rush to jump her bones…. He wants inside her head first even if it’s only briefly…..
Emerald does not need a prince charming to rescue her….. Refreshingly she is not a damsel in distress…. You can’t help but love her as you connect with her and watch her grow and change to ensure she has a better future….. Carter is just the icing on the cake…..
I really enjoyed this new witty and gritty novel…. the storyline was refreshing and the characters were adorable….. I’m looking forward to more from them in book two…
This is not a book you want to miss out on…. It will for sure keep you wanting more…..

“Annie!” I squealed, running and scooping her up before she had the chance to escape. I rained kisses all over her face. She was clearly confused, but she seemed to like it. The evidence? She dropped her doll and squeezed my neck.
Erica stared at me through narrowed eyes. “No one, including me, likes my children that much. What is going on?”
Annie giggled on cue, like she understood her mother’s words. I laughed outright.
“Your momma’s silly, isn’t she? Isn’t she?” I asked, poking Annie’s sides.
“Oh my God, who are you?” Erica demanded. “Where’s my BFF who promised me she’d never have children so I could live vicariously through her? I swear to God if you’re pregnant…”
“Calm down,” I said over the top of Annie’s head. She twisted in my arms signaling she was over my show of affection. I placed her on the floor beside her discarded doll. “How would I even be pregnant?”
“Sex. It’s called sex,” Erica replied. She finished folding the last of Little Noah’s shirts, then tossed it in the laundry basket.
“Don’t say s-e-x in front of the baby!” I chided.
“B, she doesn’t know what sex is.”
“She’ll repeat it.”
“Who cares?”
“Oh, so you want to be the mother with the kid who knows the bad words?” I asked.
“Bad word?” Erica asked, laughing.
“You know what I mean,” I said. “You want to be the mother who all the other mothers gossip about? Like about how bad your parenting skills are?”
Erica placed her hand on her hip. “Yeah, I do. Fuck ‘em. Fuck all those mothers. Fuck their playdates and mommy groups and fucking Melissa and Doug puzzles. Fuck their running strollers and baby couture and breastfeeding advice. Fuck their—”
“ERICA!”
“What?”
I looked down at the floor, but Annie was gone. She’d walked away somewhere, no doubt the kitchen since that seemed to be her favorite place to play.
